Following terms and conditions are imposed for supplying Buddhist books and items by the Buddhist Cultural Centre to its online customer.

Ordering stage

1. When the orders are given, online customer will immediately receive a receipt with all the details including names of the books reference numbers, receipt numbers etc.
2. Once the bank confirm the payment, the BCC start processing order and the usual time consumption is 3 days.

Payment
Customer has to pay with the credit card (master, visa) either in USD or LKR (Sri Lankan Rupees).

Delivery of goods
BCC is bound to dispatch books to the address given by customer after confirmation of payment by the bank in 4 to 5 working days within Sri Lanka and will receive the order in 14 days time and overseas orders 14 to 21 days. (This may differ due to the air line workers conflicts. internal unrests, terrorism acts and natural causes.)

Return policy
Return of goods will be considered only on the following criteria.

1. Manufacturing defects in case of items, cassettes, CDS etc.
2. Printing and Binding defects in case of printed matter.
3. Mix ups (Sending incorrect books)

It is required to submit the complain in writing within 14 days time with receipt. The postage to return goods to us should be born by the returnee. If found any foul play or tampering, the liability is null and void.

Refund

1. Refunds are considered only on the unavailability of the order, Normal period for a refund is 14 to 21 days.
2. For donations - If any discrepancy occur after completing the transaction or if the donor feel that He/She have over paid, please do inform us within 2 days for a refund.

Dispatch
Dispatch of the orders will be through general post office on registered Air Mail only.

Intellectual Property Policy

1. The online customer is liable for changing or mutilating the logo of the BCC.
2. He/She should not reproduce in electronic form, printing or written form or any other way without prior permission from the BCC.
3. He/She should not quote any paragraph or any part without prior permission from the BCC.
4. In case of free distribution He/She should submit 5 books or items for BCC for perusal.

Online buyer information privacy policy

1. Only following informations are collected from the online customer.
   
   
   1. Name
   2. Address
   3. Telephone No.
   4. Customer reference No.
   5. receipt No.
   6. Passport or NIC No.
   7. E-mail Address.
   
   
2. We are bound by the Sri Lankan civil law that informations collected will not be disclosed to a third party at any cost.
3. We assure the complete confidentiality of all information which are collected from online customers.
4. use of these information are as follows
   
   1. Will be used to provide a trouble free safe service.
   2. For future reference with future orders.
   3. To account the online visitors and number of visits.
   4. To correspond with the bank if the funds are not arrived.


5. These data will be copied and stored in a separate computer which is not connected to an internet, (once the data copied, it will be deleted from the online computer)
6. access to this computer will be given only to a one person and he will be held for all responsibilities.
